For the year or so, I have been having HORRIBLE nightmares every few days. I don’t know if it’s an overactive imagination, all of the energy that I don’t use during the day being put to worse use at night, or what. But it has been getting pretty bad.
Lately, though, I’ve picked up a trend in my zombie dreams: right before a zombie decides to kill someone, they tell their intended victim to “Toss me the sharpie!” It’s the one thing that is always the same, no matter when I have the dream. (Side note: I sorta feel like a zombie right now… I’m eating a rainbow cupcake and it looks like I ate a hippie. Ah! And Ghoul’s Night Out just came on – I AM A ZOMBIE!)
So… on to today. Stasi has developed a slight, um, addiction. To garage sales. So every weekend we hit the road, looking up sales on craigslist, following road signs. We’ve learned to not take her new car on dirt roads, especially when hobos on bicycles tell you “they spray bleach on these roads”. Because they do it when we drive down them. But back to my main point – we do this every weekend starting thursday, this week being no exception. And I think her addiction is rubbing off on me, I love finding awesome things now. I did pretty well today, found a duffel bag for four bucks, and a cute plain tee shirt that I already have in another color for a quarter!!! DEALS!!! And I can justify every buy. My old duffel ripped last time I flew to NY for break. It has ugly tape on the inside. (Nevermind that I already have an amazing silver slouchy weekender bag that I adore. Don’t even think of it.) Mhmm. Yeah.
I think I need money management skills.
